Strategy & Direction

Most brands know their product. Few know how to frame it for the world. The First Enclosure is the brief, the direction, the conditions. Built before the camera or the print press ever wake up.

Production & Capture

Photo, film, set design, styling. One team, one vision. Every frame treated as a cultural object worth keeping. The clothes are ready; the images aren't. That's what we're for.

05 How We Work
01

The
Conversation

Brief, world, references. We read the brand, then the room it has to walk into.

02

The
Direction

Concept boards, storyboards, casting. Everything decided before the lens opens.

03

The
Production

Set, shoot, finish. Editorial standard, treated as cultural objects worth keeping.

04

The
Release

Print run, paste, pop-up, post. Off the screen and into the street.

06 The Gate's Open

Start a conversation. Every campaign begins with one.

Comunal

4th Dinner Series
Stencil · Street · Install S/S 2026
+

"The largest chalk stencil ever used on the streets of New York City — 4 ft × 2 ft — placed in targeted locations around Comunal's 4th dinner series."

The Ask

Street-level amplification for Comunal's 4th dinner series — the event that went viral for the Azealia Banks interview by Judy Jupiter.

The Work

Designed and produced a 4 ft × 2 ft chalk stencil spray — the largest chalk stencil format ever deployed on NYC streets. Standard stencils run 18×18 inches. We went 4× the size and placed them in targeted high-traffic locations around the event.

The Output

A street presence campaign that matched the scale of the event's cultural moment. Physical media that people walked through, photographed, and shared.

The Ask

A small, native-feeling campaign with poster representation for Retail Pharmacy's F/W season.

The Work

Built the Refill Campaign — a complete brand system centered on a pharmacist prescription stamp. Two stamps designed. Shot in-store using the store worker as the campaign's subject.

The Output

Editorial photography, graphic design, poster production, and street installation — all from a single concept.

Draft Dodger Campaign

+

"A clothing release reframed as a unit of draft dodgers — Canadian resistance through authentic military surplus, shot to editorial and e-commerce standard in a single production."

DD 01 DD 02 DD 03 DD 04 DD 05 DD 06
The Ask

Full creative direction and production for a clothing release. The direction was Zoo's to define.

The Work

Developed the Draft Dodger concept — recontextualized Vietnam-era resistance, filtered through a Canadian lens. Sourced authentic military surplus. Produced a lookbook, general creatives, BTS. Shot 4 reels.

The Output

A release campaign with a defined cultural position. Not styled clothing against a wall — a unit of people with a story.

The Ask

A release photoshoot. The direction — where it would go, what it would feel like — was Zoo's to develop.

The Work

Planned and produced a full editorial campaign at a location upstate New York — a small cabin built around americana tropes. Shot entirely on film.

The Output

A photoshoot that became a point of view. Film photography at editorial standard, with a defined cultural position.

"Three ads that look like collectibles. A wallpaper-backdrop system that gave small product shots the visual grammar of something much larger."

WFTV 01 WFTV 02 WFTV 03
The Ask

A small shoot for ads. The system — how to make small ads feel like they belonged to something larger — was not defined.

The Work

Developed an ad campaign built around wallpaper backdrops — the visual grammar of action figure packaging and collectible boxes.

The Output

Three ads with a unified visual system that felt collectible rather than commercial. Small in scope. Outsized in presence.

Free Agency — Bedrot Free Agency — Bedrot Free Agency — Bedrot Free Agency — Curtain Free Agency — Curtain Free Agency — Curtain
The Ask

Help Free Agency behave like a content platform as much as a retailer. Four videos a month, extended photography from every shoot, and a planning system that ties it all together.

The Work

Built the monthly system end-to-end: content pillars, planning cadence, rollout calendar, production, and delivery. Every shoot feeds multiple outputs — video, stills, and social — from one unified creative direction.

The Output

First video became their most-engaged piece of content within four days. The system now runs month-to-month with consistent output across every channel.

The Ask

Precede the 480 Broadway SoHo flagship with a physical, analog NYC street presence. No digital spend — walls, paste, and placement only.

The Work

Full OOH rollout across downtown Manhattan and Brooklyn from June through September. Poster design, print production, and hand-pasted installation at targeted locations throughout the city.

The Output

A store opening that landed into a neighborhood that already recognized the brand. The campaign built street-level awareness entirely through physical media before doors opened.

The Ask

Street-level awareness in New York for the Snow Buds × Snow Strippers popup. Small budget, high visibility — paste and paper only.

The Work

Designed three distinct poster layouts, handled print production, and ran a targeted wheatpaste install across downtown Manhattan with a two-person crew.

The Output

A popup that already had a presence before it opened. The posters put the collaboration on the street and gave the event a physical footprint across the neighborhood.
